Is there anything else running on the the Core server? I would get rid of the other stuff if so.

If your install doesn't have things in the same locations as the default, then the script won't work, but it should give you some idea. Yes, I know your RAM is in use, but if the system is able to process important things more quickly, it may reduce the slowness you see as a user.
