Thanks for the reply. The \n change didnt fix it. I however rename the .bin to .txt and came up with this.

***** Nagios *****

Notification Type: PROBLEM

Service: Check Exchange Queues
Host: CWWAPP
Address: CWWAPP
State: CRITICAL

Date/Time: Thu Apr 13 09:25:57 EDT 2017

Additional Info:

CRITICAL: CWWAPP\Shadow = 7, CWWAPP\Shadow = 7

Not sure why it is converting CWWAPP\Shadow\3 = 7 to that. If I run script directly on server, I get this.
CRITICAL: CWWAPP\Shadow\3 = 16, CWWAPP\Shadow\3 = 16

If I run directly from nagios command line, I get this
CRITICAL: CWWAPP\Shadow\3 = 53, CWWAPP\Shadow\3 = 53

It looks like the email body is getting sent then but your email client is converting it to a bin file. You will have to see if there is a setting on your client to fix that.
That script looks to see how many emails are in the queue, everytime you run it, it should return a different number.
