statuswml.cgi -- security vulnerability

Post by blgd6226 »

hello.
i know nothing about Nagios other than i have a high risk security vulnerability reporting about the file statuswml.cgi . Where is this file? We do not need Nagios on this server. How can i check that is removed along with the file on a Solaris 10 server?

I'm no solaris expert but pkgrm nagios should get rid of it... if not the install dir you are looking for should be in /usr/local/nagios/ if it's not in the base install directory then run whatever the solaris equivalent of ps -ef | grep nagios and that should tell you where it's running from.
