Alert/Recovery emails being sent multiple times

Post by neworderfac33 »

Good afternoon,

I'm noticing that my Core 4.3.2 instance is sending most (but not all) of alert/recovery emails 12 times.

There are no other multiples - they either get sent once or 12 times!

Any offers, folks?

Thanks in advance

Pete

In order for us to decipher this we would need to see all of the configuration files for the host/service and contacts and commands.

Can you share these?

Thanks for channeling my thoughts - I sorted this one out, so this thread can be closed.
The emails were configured to be set up to send to eleven users and the group mailbox. Someone had helpfully altered the 11 users' email addresses to be the same as the group mailbox's.
11+1 = 12 - easy after a good night's sleep! :-)
Thanks
