Need to understand the port requirements

Post by nitin.gupta111 »

Hi,

I am configuring monitoring. I have couple of queries:
1. Port 12489-TCP required for NSClient++, it is from Nagios server to Windows node or Windows Node to Nagios server or both.
2. Similarly for NRPE we need 5666-TCP on which direction.
3. For check_mssql, we need 1433-TCP or check_nt can call check_mssql.

Thanks.

Open on the Windows node

Open on the Windows node, OR you would have to write a custom plugin to allow check_nt or check_nrpe to install on the Windows server that would make the connection
