Hi All,
I'm new to Nagios and we are going to implement Nagios Xi and Nagios Log server at a client place. One of their requirements includes monitoring IBM Integration Bus (IIB 10).

Could anyone help me if you found a way to monitor?

Thanks
Praveen

Hi @ cpraveen412,

Just have a few questions:

On what OS is the server that's running IBM Integration Bus?

How your clients wish to monitor it,as a service?

Has your client tried monitoring older versions of IBM Integration Bus?

What version of Nagios is your client running?

Hi @ dwasswa,
Thank you for your response.
This is first time they are introducing IIB. They did not monitor it.
They installed it on Redhat Os.
We are implementing Latest version of Nagios.
I'm not sure what exactly they wanted to monitor. They asked us whether is there a way to monitor IIB or Not?

It would be helpful for us if you can explain what all the ways we can monitor and how?

Thanks
Praveen C

Hi @cpraveen412,

IBM Integration Bus 9.0 (Message broker) formely known as WebSphere Message Broker Its the same think but different name.

Nagios provides complete monitoring of IBM Websphere application servers.

Nagios is capable of monitoring attributes of Websphere – including memory usage, thread status, session counts, connection pools, and more.

The plugins nagios uses to monitor it are found at this WebSphere Message Broker link
