Hi,
I've installed Nagios Core and NRDP on my nagios server and NCPA on my remote host for passive checks. I've configured as per the Nagios document, however I am stuck at this step.
NRDP - Passive Host And Service Definitions
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... s-762.html
However where can I define Host and Service Defnitions? i.e. on Nagios server or remote server? can you please advise me the location or the file name where I can add these details.
Thanks,
Charan

Re: NRDP - Passive Host And Service Definitions
If you use the NCPA GUI to define passive checks then you can pass them into the ncpa.cfg where NCPA is installed.
If this is a Linux server where you have NCPA installed.
It should be /usr/local/ncpa/etc/ncpa.cfg
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/ncp ... Checks.pdf
This documentation says XI, but the same thing applies to Core. Just a bit more hands-on work which is listed in the kb article you posted.
