Plugins for drac5 interface

Post by mkhan1976 »

My current environment has Nagios core 4.3.4 installed. I am trying to monitor my dell server 2900 series using drac5 interface. The Nagios-plugins-release-2.2.1 has been installed but adding a host on my localhost.cfg file using drac5 IP address couldn't add the drac5 interface. I need some help to install on confgure Nagios to health monitor of my dell server.

Thanks,
Khan

What does the definition look like? Did you restart the nagios service after making the change(needed)?

Run:

/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
service nagios restart

to verify the config and restart the service.

Once you have the host check down, https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... in/details may be of interest. It appears to query the interface for information using the ipmitool.
