Using Nagios Core & Ubuntu 11.10 Server 64-bit

Post by sdelagarza »

I've been using Nagios core for about 4 months now. Previously I was running it on a Ubuntu Narwhal Desktop 32-bit with no issues! Worked great. I have since upgraded and created an Ubuntu server and have installed Nagios Core. The server is running Ubuntu Server 11.10 64-bit. The problem I am coming across is not with the application, but I am having issues installing the plugins. I have installed it on another PC running Ubuntu desktop, 32-bit with no problem, so it makes me think that the issue is installation on the Server 64-bit. Any help is apprecaited. Thanks.

You're having trouble running plugins? Which plugins in particular?

All of them. I get the following errors when submitting the ./configure command. This is where I believe I need to do something to run this 32 bit app on a 64-bit server.
