Re: Need some help for removing hosts in Nagios Core
Hi Donald,
Thanks for helping us, i am able to modify the cfg file and able to remove the hosts from nagios.
once modified the cfg file , i did the reload by using by using command /etc/rc.d/init.d/nagios reload and the output was successful.
but post reload onward the alert mails are not triggering to our inbox. just reload is enough right or we have to restart nagios services?
can you please help on this. Post reload i have tried one test alert and the alert is not triggering to our mail box.
Regards,
Sandeep.

It'd be best to open a new forum thread since this appears to be another issue. Please start a new one and provide some details such as configuration steps that were taken both for Nagios and email. If you're trying to send to an external mail server then you'll need to setup mail settings - see https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 26&t=39588, https://elijahpaul.co.uk/setup-external ... ts-centos/, this forums search, or the Googles for details.
