Sorry Scott, but I think I've stumbled upon another little hiccup.
I've noticed that I started receiving "recovery" notifications, without the corresponding "warning" or "critical" notifications.
It turns out that if a service recovers after the 1st or 2nd SOFT state change, and before the HARD change, then I'll receive a "recovery" notification.

Thanks again for discovering this, fixed in current maint branch.
