Dear all!
I am tring to understand, how nagios core communicated with remote hosts through nrpe (the bigger picture is to understand the full architecutre, i read some nagios books, and a lot of online manuals but cant find what i am looking for). I would like to know, packet by packet, how the communication starts for my university studies. Im looking detail level something like https://www.inetdaemon.com/tutorials/in ... hake.shtml this tcp 3 way handshake description. The best would be some nice visual help like https://i.stack.imgur.com/MjsR9.gif
Thank you

Re: nrpe messeage type
We do not have any detailed documentation on the handshake, sorry.
This is the most detailed documentation on NRPE available

Oh i am sorry to hear this. I already found this article thank you. This is not bad, but i'd like to read the topic in detail. Like a 100+ page manual would be nice to have.
