Nagios passive check using nsca

Hi All,
Please assist as nagios is not updating as per passive checks. I think checks are not submitted to nagios server on time.
N.B. : NSCA is used on both nagios server and client machine for doing passive checks.

Is the port listening?

Are you seeing any errors in /var/log/messages, /var/log/httpd/error_log, or /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log that could be related?
