Note: The NRPE daemon requires that Nagios plugins be installed on the remote Linux/Unix host. Without
these, the daemon wouldn't be able to monitor anything.

This could be another challenge for me here installing the plugins onto the remote Host? We have more than 1000+ VMs running on multiple VMware ESXi Hosts. It would be very tedious work!

The plugins are installed along with the agent if you follow https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=8.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
