How do I configure sending emails from Nagios Core?

I want to use a gmail account to send email notifications from Nagios Core.


How do I do that?

I followed the HowtoForce article and it worked great. Thanks very much.

Only downside is it won't send email to itself.. any ideas on a fix for that?

You could create a service mail account used for relaying and then use a different from address?

I think that's a limitation imposed by gmail and I'm having trouble finding a solution.
