Team,

I have a Host which is failing PING test and goes DOWN saying "DOWN- Ping Timed Out" in Nagios.
But I don't get notification for this!
Is this the default behavior of Nagios?
Is there a way to send notification when PING test fails?

Hello @vlakshman,

Are you getting notifications when the other hosts and services are down or critical? You'll want to check host definition to make sure you have notifications enabled with the desired notification options.

If click on the host in the GUI, are you able to send a custom notification?
