Hello,
I am planning to update CentOS to the latest version. If I stop the httpd.service and nagios.service then run the yum check-update followed by yum update I’m hoping the update will complete without breaking the Nagios Core functionality. Is there anything else I need to be aware of prior to running the OS updates other than a backup?
Secondly, I need to upgrade Nagios Core 4.4.2 to 4.4.3.
Do I need to follow this guide?
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... tml#CentOS
Current Running Version:-
OS Version: CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)
Nagios: Nagios Core 4.4.2
CentOS Update and Nagios Upgrade to 4.4.3

No, that should do itcharlie126 wrote: Is there anything else I need to be aware of prior to running the OS updates other than a backup?
That would be correct as long as your Core install was from source and not an RPM installcharlie126 wrote:Secondly, I need to upgrade Nagios Core 4.4.2 to 4.4.3.
