Nagios Scheduling

Post by vlakshman »

Team,

Following are my understanding:
1) "inter_check_delay_method" & "service_interleave_factor" comes into play during Nagios Start or restart.
2) "inter_check_delay_method" --> Manages CPU load on Nagios Server by adding delay between successive service execution
3) "service_interleave_factor" --> Manages CPU Load on remote host by interleaving services.

Does these affect service execution scheduling even after initial scheduling? (Once initial checks are done for all services)
If so, how?

These are used continuously when checks are re-scheduled and re-balanced, not just when nagios starts.
