Not able to start NAGIOS

Hi

I am new to nagios and now not able to access any information.

please find the attachment for the problem on all the links i got the same error,

and in log file i got this

I think the usual cause of the first problem is that the permissions on the plugin do not permit the nagios user to run it. The problem shown on your screenshot usually indicates that the nagios daemon is not running.

Which instructions did you follow when installing Nagios? What the fix is will depend to some extent on how it was installed.

Usually the best place to start looking for instructions on installing Nagios Core is http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/quickstart.html
or by buying one of the excellent books on the subject, for example "Nagios" by Wolfgang Barth published by No Starch Press.
