HIgh & Low Warning

Post by Eireocean »

Good Day,

I was wondering, if in the same check, you could alert on a different range of values ie.

temp 9 degrees celsius and below - critical
temp 10-19 degrees celsius - warning
temp 20-29 degrees celsius - ok
temp 30-39 degrees celsius - warning
temp 40 and above degress celsius - critical

I see we can sepicify the ranges with say 10:19, but I am not sure if you can repeat that with two different ranges or would have to sepearte it into two different checks ?

Regards

It depends on the plugin, but most of the time you can specify both a warning and critical threshold. Review the plugin's help or code to see if it accepts both thresholds in a single command.
