windows NCPA to monitor disk and file system counts

Postby gmills » Fri Nov 22, 2019 12:54 pm

I am looking for a plugin for NCPA that can return the number of files in the specified directory.

I need to monitor a specific directory and if there is 200 plus files sitting there, I need to issue an email to a DL.

I am doing something similar in Unix/Linux , new to windows monitoring, can't find a method or API , having problem finding what is available.

thank you!

This is a highly requested feature. Unfortunately NCPA doesn't have a way to do this out of the box. You might find a plugin on the Exchange to check file count, sizes, etc. If you can, then you could add that to NCPA's plugins directory, and perform your check that way.
