Hello, I've been working with Nagios Core for many years but in these days I'm facing a new issue for me.
I need to insd?tall a local Nagios server in a far network and I want to integrate it in a upper-level one, which monitors the main network.
To be clear: a Nagios server is already installed in a site A, I'd like to install a new one a in a site B and then integrate it also in server A.
How is the best way to proceed?
Thanks in advance

Re: Nagios core distributed monitoring
This is not built into Nagios Core, but it is possible of you have added NRDP to Server A
Below is a document that is designed for sending Nagios Core results to XI, but page 3 & 4 will give you an outline of how this can be accomplished using NRDP

Thank you for your kind reply. So is the easiest way possible just by Nagios XI? I'll try also by what you suggested

Re: Nagios core distributed monitoring
Nagios XI is WAY easier, you just configure outbound checks to send to your other XI server and you are doneGeo wrote:Thank you for your kind reply. So is the easiest way possible just by Nagios XI? I'll try also by what you suggested
