I'm using ncpa to check some services, i was using it for last 2 months and it was working good suddenly one day its come under critical condition and showing an error like Service check timed out after 61.01 seconds

Hello,
What that means is it took too long to get a response back from the remote host. The global timeout is set for 60 seconds, but this may or may not be the default timeout for a check command.
If the timeouts are happening intermittently, then its usually a network congestion issue. You can run a state history report on the host or service and review the behavior to try and figure the cause.
