Reporting Plugin for actual usage (not status reports)

Post by mehetmet »

Hello,

I have not been able to find, and am not sure if one exists, a plugin or add on for reporting the real numbers of services. I'll explain better here:

We have nsclient++ on our Windows Servers so our Nagios machine can contact them and get our active checks and what not. We are using checks such as check_nt!MEMUSE! ; check_nt!USEDDISKSPACE! ; check_nt!CPULOAD! ; etc.

Now these reflect real numbers in the web browser, for example 4096 MB total, 470 MB in use (11%), 3626 Free (89%). the reporting Nagios does is tells me how often it was is ok, warning, or critical state. I want it to (if possible) graph the actual usage, so i could see something like at 2:30 usage was at 15%, but at 3:00 it was at 87%.

Does what I'm saying make sense? Does it exist? Do you need further explanation/clarity?

What you want is performance graphing for Nagios.
