Greetings to all, first of all I apologize for the possible poor writing of the post and for my level of English.
I have a problem when using a Powershell script that allows me to validate the status of windows backups
made with the feature "Windows server backups" or wbadmin.
This is the link where I found this script
https://github.com/DemisR/check_winbulog
In essence, what the script does is validate the status of the last Windows server backup and indicate the date of said copy.
After performing all the configuration and when validating the service from Nagios Core it throws me the error of UNKNOWN
and with the Status Information: Unknown command (s): check_backup
I attach the modified script to my need and the configuration files of my Nagios Core server
Script PowerShell
Code: Select all
$returnStateOK = 0
$returnStateWarning = 1
$returnStateCritical = 2
$returnStateUnknown = 3
$status = get-wbjob -previous 1
$hresult=$status.errordescription
if ($status.hresult -eq "0" -and !$hresult)
{
$message = "OK - Last backup success at {0} " -f $status.endtime
Write-Host $message
exit $returnStateOK
}
elseif ($hresult.Contains("warnings"))
{
$message = "WARNING - {0} " -f $status.endtime
Write-Host $message
exit $returnStateWarning
}
else
{
$message = "CRITICAL - Last backup failed {0} " -f $status.endtime
Write-Host $message
exit $returnStateCritical
}
if ($runningstatus.CurrentOperation)
{$message = $runningstatus.CurrentOperation}
$message = "UNKNOW - Not found backups events"
exit $returnStateUnknown
Code: Select all
