Not Nagios issue - Nagvis but that forum is closed

Post by delboy1966 »

Hi all

I know this isn't the correct platform for Nagvis related issues, i would normally post this on their forum, but it seems its no longer active.
I'm hoping that something may have had this issue and would be kind enough to steer me in the right direction.

Centos 7
Nagios Core 4.4.6
Nagvis 1.8

I am trying to update Nagvis to 1.9.23
Its on the box with all the right file permissions etc, and the default admin user has been created in auth.db.
But at the GUI login screen when I login with the default username/password admin/admin it just goes back to the login screen.
I have enabled audit debugging in the nagvis ini file, and get;

26-01-2021 10:29:48 User logged in (admin / 1): CoreAuthModSQLite
26-01-2021 10:29:48 User logged in (admin / 1): CoreAuthModSQLite

26-01-2021 10:29:48 User login failed ( / -1): CoreAuthModSQLite

26-01-2021 10:29:48 User login failed ( / -1): CoreAuthModSQLite

I have spent 2 days looking at this and can't find any help on the web.
Does anyone have any ideas?

TIA
Tony
