Hello,
I have searched the documentation and could not find the procedure to remove/uninstall nagiosXI.
I have installed it using the script https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/install.sh
Is there any uninstall script for the same?
Kindly let me know.
Thanks and Regards
Ravi Kumar

Re: uninstall nagiosxi
The simplest thing to do is to reinstall the OS.
Re: uninstall nagiosxi
This would be the last thing i would prefer to do. I just wanted to know why uninstall process is missing from the Nagios documentation.gormank wrote:The simplest thing to do is to reinstall the OS.

"Cattle, not pets" and all that
@benhank produced this a few years back, I dunno if it still works:
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/U ... pt/details
There was also an official script (and documentation) produced for uninstalling that used to ship with Nagios XI, but I dunno if it's still maintained because it's not included in the most recent release:
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... tall_xi.sh
Re-installing the OS really is the best option. If that's cumbersome, I'd refer you to the "Cattle, not pets" concept explained in the above StackExchange post.
