I'm new to Nagios. After finished the installation of Nagios, I go on to set up NagiosQL. I've referenced many online tutorials and almost all of them mentioned that we need to change the original path of "cfg_file" to point to the folder of nagiosql (inside nagios.cfg).
I'm curious how this works as those *.cfg files won't automatically be created in or copied/moved to nagiosql folder. Without those files in the new path, there's no way to pass nagios check. None of the tutorials have mentioned about this.

Can you provide a link to which tutorials you are using. Honestly, not super familiar with installing and configuring Nagiosql with Core since we are using Nagios XI in support, but I'll take a look for you.. I've referenced many online tutorials and almost all of them mentioned that we need to change the original path of "cfg_file" to point to the folder of nagiosql (inside nagios.cfg).

Thanks benjamin. I finally discovered that myself. I need to click "Write config files" in each of the category in order to generate the cfg files.
