Hardware Exponential Growth

Post by gbautista »

Hi
Im currently working on a deployment about 500 hosts, 10 services per hosts, im thinking in a growth to 1500 nodes in 4 years, what do you think is the hardware required?

+ 8GB RAM
+4 vCPU
+120 HDD

is enough for that kind of growth?

Hi,

For Nagiso XI, I would recommend increasing the RAM to 16GB and having more than 8+ cpu cores, the hard disk looks about right. On large systems (beyond 20,000 checks) most systems have 16 or more cores.
