Thruk Nagios Logcache Problem

Post by thomaszwei »

Hey,

I have a problem with the Availability Report and Trends for services and hosts.
Our environment is
- 1 thruk frontend
- 8 nagios monitoring backends

Service checks, notification works fine. But I dont have any past data for the availability report. The report is empty for every host/service.
But if I have a look at the logcache I see that some of the backends have millions of data stored. So my question is what is wrongfully configured that I cant see this information?

Any hint is appreciated.

Best Regards
Thomas

That's a question probably best asked within the Thruk communities:

Not 100% sure how Thruk gets logging info into MySQL. Sounds like there's a cron job you could try running by hand on some of your Nagios hosts.
