Hello,
I have been stuck on a odd issue.
When i try to run check_apache from nagios serer to the a remote host.
usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_apache -H test.server.internal.com
CRITICAL 500 write failed:
I get the following above.
Telnet to port 80 works fine.
apache is running
Nrpe is apart of the apache group
selinux is enforced (but i have another server with the same settings and the call works perfectly fine
there is nothing in the apache error logs that does not show up on the working server.
TCPDUMP does show headers with http 200 status on the destination when tail it and run it from the nagios server.
I have googled and searched your knowlegde base, there is nothing that can shed light on why this is happening.
Any one have any ideas on how i can figure out what the issue is?
Please and thank you
Cheers
