Memory leak

Post by t.dubiel »

Hello.
We are using Nagios Core, the latest version with livestatus and Thruk (almost the latest version).
We have problem with memory leak - nagios processes consume more and more RAM till its full and nagios crashes. At the moment Nagios uses 5 GB RAM.

How can we investigate what is causing that problem?
This is Debian 10 and we are using passive checks.
Best regards

It's probably Thruk issue. I noticed memory leak when getting reports. The reports from Nagios are ok, the same reports from Thruk create memory leak.

Thanks for the update. I have tested this setup, but I'm not aware of any report-related memory leaks/bugs in the current version of Nagios Core.
