Hi,
We are asked to do Nagios overall health check. What are all the things that we need to check.

Re: Nagios health check
I'm curious after seeing a few mentions of nagios recently - what are people using with nagios for monitoring and what are you monitoring?
Agent wise - NCPA? NRPE? NRDP?
What do you check per Windows/Linux Server? (services that should be started, ports that should be open, CPU, memory, disk space, time drift, snapshots on Hyper-V, anything else?)
Do you monitor network devices (ports, SNMP for status of ports/bandwidth utilization/cpu/memory/etc, anything else?)
Do you monitor vSphere? If so what agent?
Do you export data from nagios (e.g. do you use data from nagios for omeglz echat some sort of overview dashboard?)
