Hi all,
Just a question.
We have a Nagios server in our network and we want to deploy another one at a specific site that is highly secured.
It has its own firewall there and we were wondering whether their Nagios could acutally send messages to ours?
The idea is to also be warned when something goes wrong on the remote site, not only the guys out there having the info.
Here is the idea
We want the Main Nagios to be notified by the Remote Nagios if something is wrong on this latter.
Should we install a plugin for distributed monitoring?
Anyone with any experience on this kind of configuration, going through several firewalls?
Thanks for any advice

I would check out the Core Doc below as a start.
http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/distributed.html
The Nagios-users email list through sourceforge is also an excellent resource for more complicated setups like what you're looking at.
