HTTP server authentication

Post by FODjustitie »

Hi,

I want to create several users so they can see only the hosts/hostgroups of they are contact for. So, I have created new contacts and contactgroups and made them contact for their host(s)/hostgroup(s). Problem is, when I logon to my nagios website site with a user with limited view of hostgroups, i can't see the hostgroups the user is contact for, I only see the hosts and services where the user is contact for.
Summary:

When I click on 'Hostgroup overview' I get this message: It appears as though you do not have permission to view information...'
When I click on 'Service detail' I see all needed information.

Can someone help me?

Thanks

Check the authorizations in the /usr/local/nagios/etc/cgi.cfg file

OR

Does it work to make that user a contact for the hostgroup?
