SNMP issue/question

Post by 3tan »

I am new to Nagios and having issues getting the SNMP to query properly. Our network is using procurve switches and the community name is MEM! and I cannot get the snmp to go through as it looks like nagios may cut the off after !. I've tried adding quotes and apostrophe's around it but it still doesn't seem to work. I can use snmpwalk with the community and works just fine from a terminal window. I've attached the error in the image below and help would be appreciated

Try escaping the exclamation with a backslash:

Code: Select all
