Monitor SiteMinder authentication

Post by chagrinboy2001 »

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone has tried to monitor SiteMinder authentication. I found CkFormLogin plug-in for Nagios (http://zetetic.net/software-ckformlogin/ ). I have already installed and configured it but I still not convinced him to work. Do you know other plug-ins ?

I will try to explain how the authentication process looks like:

1. Open http://website1

2. Siteminder component in the website1 web server checks for your certificate

3a. If your certificate is valid, you are redirected to point 4.

3b. if not, you are redirected to https://website2/login.sfcc where the authentication is performed.

4. When successfully authenticated, your username is then somehow passed to http://website1/MRcgi/MRentrancePage.pl

Any ideas about how I can monitor SiteMinder authentication in Nagios ?

Cheers,
bb
