Services in a Pool

Post by JohnFLi »

We have a pool of 4 host machines, and each runs a service.

is there a way to have Nagios Monitor these host for the service and send warnings if it is stopped on 2 machines, and send out critial alerts if the service is not running on 3 machines?

thank you.....that does seem to work. Rather simple as well......once you track down all the files to run it on Core.
for core, you need this: http://sourceforge.net/p/nagios/svn/HEA ... nagiosbpi/
