Can I have Automatic registration??

We are looking to use Nagios for monitoring Asterisk servers that we will be selling. Is it possible to pre configure a "monitored box" to automatically register itself with my Nagios server in our office when it is booted? We want something that will be automatic. Most likely we will only be able to use passive monitoring to get started.

I am sure I will have more questions as time passes, but this one will get us started.

When a passive device first sends data to a Nagios XI system, it will show up under Admin -> Unconfigured Objects. From there you can run a wizard that will configure a host and service(s) for that device. From then on it will receive updates as normal.
