FAQ for alerts

I am currently looking into a way to have service alerts contain a URL to an external repository that will reference the service, host and error to tell the support staff what needs to be done to remediate the alert. Do you have any ideas on how I would attempt this? I know how to add the URL to Nagios, but need to understand where I could store the host/service details with the fixes to the alerts. I was thinking dumping the nagios data to service-now or some database to reference.

I guess I'm a bit confused on what you are asking for. Do you need help getting a URL like "http://www.somesite.com/fix/host/service/error" format included in the email that goes out? Or do you have the URL working and want help with creating such a system in the first place?
