Nagios XI on Private cloud

Post by shailu2014 »

Hi,

Currently I have deployed the Nagios XI in our data center now I want to put Amazon cloud server on our Nagios XI to get the alert if some thing goes wrong.

Please can someone help me, which is the good way to put Nagios XI on Private cloud and how I can secure my Nagios XI on Private cloud.

Thanks,

What is the exact AWS technology you are using here? That way, we can better offer advice/plugins/checking methods. Thanks!

Do you have a VPN setup between your data center and and your VPC in AWS?

Also, you can monitor your AWS instances via Cloudwatch plugin

VPN setup is a bit beyond the scope of our support, but anyone on your networking team should be able to set it up. Once it is in place and working properly we can certainly help with monitoring through it.
