Our oganization is looking for plugin to monitor hardware status (fan, cpu, disk array, ...) on HP Proliant servers but without SNMP enabled. These servers to be monitored are running Windows.
The Nagios server is running RHEL 5.6 64bit.
Your support will be appreciated.
Need plugin to monitor HP Proliant server
Re: Need plugin to monitor HP Proliant server
Well if they are running Windows, we have a couple docs that outline the process of setting it up
Method: WMI
The outline and general guide;
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ng_WMI.pdf
The step-by-step to install necessary plugins on XI;
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... For_XI.pdf
Method: NSClient++
Installing the agent on the Windows:
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... _Agent.pdf
Then you'll need to install the wizard
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... server.zip
Those two will work very well.
