Nagios core 3.5 Vs nagios ocre 4.x

Post by rajivsairam »

Hi

We are planning to upgrade nagios core version from 3.5 to 4.0.8. Could you please help in understanding what are major differences between these two versions.
I would like to understand what advantages we get by upgrading from version 3.5 to 4.x.

Thank You
Rajiv

One of the major advantages is speed (resources).
There should be a changelog available.

Here ya go:

As rhassing indicated - pay closest attention to the performance improvements. That's the most substantial portion.
