i have a nagios configuration with passive agent, i need to monitore if this passive agent is working or not, is there any solution to gain this information about passive agent behavior?

Well, it all depends how you have this passive agent set up.
Does it run on a cron?
Does it always report info, or only when a PROBLEM is detected?
What passive agent are you using?
