Services, Templates and Hostgroups

We have two services that are assigned to two different service templates. Each of those service templates are assigned to a hostgroup. The behavior that we are seeing is that the first template executes the services but the second one does not.
Is this how it should behave? It would be nice to be able to assign a service to more than one template.

I think the problem is that templates replace contents of an object definition, they don't compliment them. You can change this behavior though. Click the + sign in your hostgroup window in your service templates. See picture.


If that doesn't solve it let us know.
