Hi,lmiltchev
Thank u!
This problem has been solved according to your suggestion.
Can you tell me why it is?
Additionaly, it's amazing that there is no problem on the other remote machine.
But the other remote machine is different with this remote machine:
the solaris OS version is 10, the nrpe version is 2.13.
The detail info is as follow:
bash-3.2$ ./check_nrpe -H 127.0.0.1
NRPE v2.13
bash-3.2$ uname -a
SunOS a101a19.sol10.sh 5.10 Generic_150400-04 sun4v sparc sun4v
bash-3.2$ ps -ef|grep nrpe
nmonitor 232 224 0 09:48:01 pts/1 0:00 grep nrpe
nmonitor 23659 1 0 Jul 28 ? 5:24 bin/nrpe -n -c etc/nrpe.cfg -d
NRPE problem
Re: NRPE problem
I think the old copy on the NRPE daemon that wasn't compiled with SSL was still running on the system. Killing it off and starting the SSL version fixed the issue.
The other system could be that both the plugin and the daemon were compiled without SSL and that is why it is working.
Is it alright to close this post?
