So do these work for anyone out of the box?
Is it due to the devices that i am monitoring?
How can i get these to work?

Because of the perfdata. As I understand it you simply need to drop the units. Modify your plugin to not output those units. Are you using the check_mrtgtraf plugin (router switch wizard)?

Re: Issues with Nagvis in NagiosXI VM Build
I can say this isn't really the *right* way to fix it, bu the *right* way is outside of my scope. The *right* way would be for NagVis to handle the units properly.
That said, try replacing your check_rrdtraf plugin with the one attached. Rename it from check_rrdtraf.txt to check_rrdtraf
You'll probably want to break down and recreate your services as the change in units is going to make everything a bit wonky.
