How to monitor more than 4 services ?

Post by pouda »

Hello,

I've just installed nice Nagios XI (by VM). I remarked that it's not possible to monitor more than 4 services or more than 4 processes by host.

Do you know f this limitation is due to that i'm using Nagios XI in free mode ... or it's simply not possible ...

Thx in advance for your answers

Bye.

There are limitations in Nagios XI for unlicensed copies but you should still be able to monitor 7 hosts with unlimited services after your 60 day trial expires. How did you run into this limitation?

Can you post a screenshot of your license information page, located under the Admin tab?

Thats only whats available in the wizard. You can add more than that by rerunning the wizard (specify the host you want to add more services to) and then specify the additional services you want to monitor on the host. It will only add what the host doesn't already have.
