@whitest, I am not 100% on your issue. IE8 is pretty outdated, so I am not sure how much development will be done for that. I let the devs know that you had another concern, as well. I'll see what I can do for that one, but right now I have been focusing on the language/compatability aspect of this issue.
DanielB wrote:Could you please clarify which version of FF are you using? In one of the first messages I saw the following:
PC1: Windows 8.1 ==> Firefox 34.0.5
PC2: Windows 8.1 ==> Firefox 40.0.2
PC3: Windows 7 x64 ==> Firefox 30
PC3: Windows XP SP3 ==> Firefox 28
In that case, it would appear to be another PC2.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Daniel
What for you need the information?
PC with Windows XP has Firefox 28.0. All other PCs have latest version of Firefox already.

- IE 8.0.7601.17514 (ru): not worked.
The new maps are done using SVG, and IE 8 doesn't support SVG. That's one of the reasons we have the "legacy" links.
whitest wrote:One more question. I use virtual hosting on the nagios server. Before 4.1.1 version Nagios searched cgi directory properly. I didn't have to change ScriptAlias directive in httpd.conf to:
Now I need to change it to make new map working with virtual hosting. Why new map doesn't use ScriptAlies directive from /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagios.conf as it was before???
What problem, exactly, are you having with this? Are you getting a 404 error? Or something else?

New map is not worked. I see following messages in error.log:

Thanks for your reply.
As I mentioned in a previous message, I was having difficulty obtaining the information on the network map using Iceweasel/Firefox 40.0.3 on GNU/Linux and Windows Server 2012, respectively. But I had no problems with Firefox 35 in OpenBSD. So I was interested to know the versions with which it worked for you.

The ScriptAlias is for /nagios/cgi-bin but map.html is not under nagios, so the server is looking for the JSON CGI's in the normal cgi-bin directory. If I understand correctly you probably need to add a ScriptAlias /cgi-bin /usr/local/nagios/sbin to your config.
I have a server on 4.1.1, and I have a server on 4.1.2 beta. They are both set to the es_AR locale. Windows 7 is the Russian version, but I feel like we can kind of eliminate that as you used it on Windows Server 2012 English version without any issues. My English one works just fine obviously. I'd spin up the version you're using, but I don't have Microsoft Volume Licensing personally.

Thanks for confirm.
Here I'm using Windows Server 2012 Evaluation downloaded from Microsoft site. It can be downloaded an ISO that lets you test Windows for six months. I use this version of Windows when I have to test things on this operating system since I usually use GNU/Linux.
What strikes me is why Iceweasel 40.0.3 on Debian Jessie generates these problems and other browsers (Chromium 45.0.2454.85 and Konqueror 4.14.2) have no problems, because the operating system is the same for all three cases. Something similar happens in the Windows Server 2012 virtual machine: Firefox 40.0.3 has this problem but Google Chrome 45.0.2454.93 and Explorer 10.0.9200.17492 run smoothly and the operating system is common to all three.
