Export Performance Data - Graphs (Historical)

Hello,

We want to export the data in CSV format (historical) can some one guide me how can we do that -

Scenario - We are collection prod_firewall_interface_usage and i can see the performance graph there but want to export that in CSV format.

The simplest way that I know of regarding exportation of performance data is to use the 'Capacity Planning' report. After running the report, click the 'data' button and review your CSV formatted data like so:

As suggested, this data can be copied and pasted directly into an excel spreadsheet.

Please note that only XI 5+ will support the above solution.

I have an alternate solution.

You could use this tool I created called the Performance Data Tool as this lets you see the raw data in the RRD files.

Upload it into Nagios XI via Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components.

Then access it via the Tools menu.

When you click on an RRD it will open in a popup window with all the data in table which could be copied and pasted into Excel or similar.

Are you running XI5+? The button you're looking for is only available on our newest version.

yeah we are not using Xi5 at this time - but the tool given by Box293 is helpful and we are good at this time.
